What the heck do I know about fashion?

Pretty much nothing, to be honest. I love to buy pretty clothes, and that's about it really.

Why on Earth do you have a fashion blog then?

I think fashion is a wider concept than carefully styled pictures of flawless women. Obviously, we all know that unrealistic ideas are a huge problem in the mainstream industry, but I've noticed a similar sort of problem with plus size fashion too, especially when it comes to Vintage sort of looks. Much as I would love to be perfectly styled every day, in flawless make up, crease free and shapeweared up to the hilt, its just not the way my life works. I greatly suspect I'm not alone in that, so my theory is that people might be interested in my kind of everyday, chucked together, creased looks.

What sort of things are you going to tell us about?

Instead of just an outfit of the day sort of thing, I want to be able to tell you about the practical things I think about the outfits I wear. What rides up, what rubs, what lumps show that didn't appear in the online pictures. Does it show up sweat patches and cat hair? That's the sort of thing I'm interested in. Its not glamorous, but I think its worthwhile having someone willing to talk about these things. I'm crap at putting make-up on and totally cack- handed when it comes to hairstyles, but I don't think that's a problem; I think its going to be the strength of this blog.

Why are you not actually a flamingo?

Honestly, I wish I knew. I bloody love flamingoes, I do.
